You fail to realize that they had a fuckload of seniors last year whom a vast majority of are playing for the Buffalo Bills now.
They were "the youngest team in the SEC" this season. They had a 5th yr quarterback who guided the younger ones on their way to being better. They had Marcus Spears, Skyler Green who both leave this year and guided the team on. Corey Webster, who got titled something, though i can't remember exactly what, who guided the young team.
Just wait. Maybe not next year, but the year after, they will rock again.
They also had alot of stress with Saban getting that offer from the Dolphins. For the youngest team in the SEC, they didn't do too bad at all. At least they made it to a bowl game, which isn't what alot of teams did this year, teams who are older, more mature than LSU was.
Dont mess with me and my Tigers :fawk:

Oh yea, do you know why Marcus Spears didn't go pro after that wonderful performance in the Sugar Bowl last year? Because he knew that LSU would be a young team this year and he didn't want to leave them out there like that. He wanted to finish it out and guide what he prided in, to be a better team. :)

well Saban didnt care about the team obviously. if he can get paid all the money for one season then towards the end say "fuck yall im going to coach the Dolphins"

:blah: :blah: :blah: Saban didn't care this and Saban didn't care that. I'm sick of hearing that BS. Lets pretend like you're LSU's head coach and you get this HUGE raise after winning the Sugar Bowl and then another after bringing the team to yet another bowl game. THEN you get offered a sweet ass deal to coach proball.. a once in a lifetime chance. Though, not JUST coach it, but have full control over the entire team. The OWNER can't even tell you what to do, so the contract says.
Who, in their right mind, WOULDN'T jump on that. Regardless of how much you hate Saban and LSU, you can't blame the guy. So he's ditching LSU, so what? Not even 2 years ago he got them a National Championship Title, something that hadn't been done at LSU in a long time, if ever. How many times did they goto bowl games under Sabans coaching? He rocked. Anyone who says differently, is bandwagon hating.

Smart move on sitting them out since they already knew they were going. Peyton rocks. Watching pro has been sucking lately for us.
This week, all the Colts starters sat and last weekend Vick didn't play. So the Saints won, which in the long run, helped them too, since they too made the playoffs.

just told Poetic that i would go too and that you would bring it up :o but honestly... and you can see me on this or not. fucking retarded ass move to pay him that much for one season. regardless of his achievements he aint worth that much for 1 season. multi year deal for teh win. but i think he saw how poorly they played beginning of this season and even in their wins they were playing poor and letting teams come back on them in the last parts of the game compared to last season (yes you can say seniors leaving and all that but the upcoming guys have to prove themself) and when the dolphins job showed up he went for it
my case in point is the game against Iows. all you have to do is protect the end zone. and they cant even do that!!!!!

You cannot go from HS football, to college football and be bad ass. Its takes time. Its very different from HS, such as going pro is very different from college. You aren't just awesome right out of lower levels, unless your Peyton Manning that is.

i know this ;) but all im saying is that giving Saban all that money for one year was a dumb decision. i said it when they did it. i told myself "if they dont do like they did last year he will prolly end up leaving. they should have given him a multi year deal"
and very rarely do you see a player who doesnt finish college do good in the pros. experience is a major factor :)
